Katrina Goymer

Centre Director

"I have always been committed to improving educational standards whether by working to improve access to learning and educational resources, helping to motivate and encourage children to enable them to reach their full potential, or directly tutoring in academic subjects.  I am a firm believer that self- confidence and enthusiasm compliment academic success and for this reason I find it extremely rewarding to work with Explore; a company that wholly embraces this ethos and promotes inspirational learning."

Katrina graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 with a 2:1 in Psychology.   Throughout her course, Katrina took a particular interest in modules exploring child development and socialisation; this interest was supplemented by her involvement with several voluntary projects working with children outside of her studies.  Since graduating Katrina has spent time working alongside the Ministry of Education in Tanzania, with a charity that collects disused textbooks from UK schools, and distributes them to schools in East Africa.

Nicola Morgan

Assistant Director

“Explore Learning centres promote a fantastic way to tutor children as we go beyond academic learning to work on confidence and independent learning. It is so rewarding seeing children succeed in their maths and literacy as well as developing a love for learning.”

Nicola graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 with a 2:1 in History and Philosophy. She has always loved working with children and soon realised her passion for working with them. She ran a kids’ club on a campsite in France and worked on a summer camp in Oxford for children from around the world. She finds it extremely rewarding working in a centre that strives to improve children’s academic ability in such a vibrant and fun environment.
