All
Explore Learning centres work closely with local primary and secondary schools
in their communities. Explore tutors are actively involved in school life and
support schools by holding regular free literacy and numeracy events throughout the
school year.
Our
aim is to inspire pupils to feel enthusiastic and confident about maths and
English, whilst supporting local schools with their targets. We do not charge for any of our events
with schools, although availability is limited due to high demand.
Types of school events offered by Explore Learning:
• Literacy and
numeracy workshops in the classroom.
• Literacy and
numeracy workshops in our centres.
• Year group
and whole school assemblies.
• National
Young Writers’ Awards Workshops and Competitions.
• National
Young Mathematicians’ Awards Workshops and Competitions.
• Free literacy
and numeracy activities at PTA events.
• Teacher and
Head Teacher open days at Explore centres.
“They were
buzzing about what they had done…I thought the tutors were very professional,
dealt with the children in a very positive manner and delivered an excellent
lesson! Thank you very much!”
M. Paterson, Teacher at Worsley Bridge
Primary School.
